ScrapFrames is Closing Down
It is with sadness that we report that we are closing our virtual doors here at ScrapFrames, after more than 4 years scrapping along with you.
Why? There are several reasons, including the global economic downturn and sharp increases to the cost of stock due to currency crashes and supplier increases.
Also, although I have adored running my own business while my youngest child was a baby and pre-schooler, she’s now at Big School, and it’s time to re-enter my first career, seeking out new challenges and re-activating a different set of brain cells! I will look back with fondness over my time with ScrapFrames, it has certainly been a change of pace and a delightful diversion. I have very much enjoyed getting to know lots of you, my friends and customers, and helping you find just the right thing for your crafty projects. Who knew ‘work’ could be so much fun, BAS statements aside!!??
So, we hereby announce our PROGRESSIVE CLOSING DOWN SALE, current discount is 50% OFF marked prices, STORE-WIDE.
The 50% off rate will run for a couple of months, and we will increase it by increments after that until all of our stock has found a new home. Clearly, the most desirable and essential items will sell out first, so if you have your eye on something, place your order early to have the best chance of snapping it up. If you feel like a gamble, wait for the next reduction to be announced on site... It’s your risk! The level of discount applied will be the one in place at the time your order was submitted. Prices shown on site and in the shopping cart are NOT ALREADY REDUCED. The discount will be applied at invoicing. We will email you with a final total when the order has been picked, to account for any items out of stock. If you make payment based on an estimate and the final total is less, please be assured we will refund the difference by Direct Deposit. If you include your BSB, Account number and Account name in the comments section of your order it will make it easier and faster for us to do this.
All stock is sold on a ‘first paid first served’ basis. No backorders will be taken. No ‘holds’ please. While the stock levels are reasonably accurate, they cannot be guaranteed down to the last one or two, especially for items such as ribbon by the metre , cardstock and papers. Orders will be picked strictly in order of receipt, but will not be packed for posting until payment has been received.
Direct Deposit payments must be received or credit card payment arranged by phone within THREE business days of order placement, or the order will be cancelled by us and items returned to stock. Direct deposit is the preferred method of payment, please use your surname and order number as a reference, ie Jackson 592.
Credit Card payments are also available, please call (02) 9481 4263 and leave a message with the card number, expiry, card type, name on card , the 3 digit CVV2 number from the back of the card, along with your surname and order number. Cheques and Money orders are not currently available without prior arrangement.
Turnaround time will inevitably be longer than our usual fast service due to the higher volume of orders expected. It will be all hands on deck to process, pack and post orders out, but we do ask for a little patience.
Postage – For orders up to 500 grams packed weight cost will be $5.60. All orders over 500 grams packed weight will be charged the actual postage cost as determined by the Parcel Postage Assessment Calculator on the Australia Post website HERE . You can estimate the cost of various order weights by plugging in your postcode and postcode 2126 . We will advise the total cost including postage when we have picked and weighed your order. The default postage amount shown during checkout is $0.00 for standard and $2.80 for registered post. Actual postage charge will be added and advised during order processing.
All items will be posted via Australia Post regular mail. If you wish to use registered post, choose this option from the menu during checkout. The base rate covers insurance up to $100 value, please add an extra $1.30 for each $100 or part thereof if you wish to purchase additional insurance. We cannot be held responsible for the safe delivery of orders if you choose the regular post option.
For our international customers, all postage will be at cost. We will contact you to advise after we receive your order. Please note that we cannot cash foreign currency cheques, payment is via credit card only.
Inclusions/Exclusions – Postage charges are NOT included in the discount. Items in the Bargain Bin ARE included. Items in the Recycling Station ARE NOT INCLUDED. ScrapFrames ScrapKits and Kaisercraft items ARE included in the sale, HOWEVER the discount is capped at a maximum of 40%
Shopping Cart System - If you are browsing as a guest, your cart contents will disappear after you leave or a period of inactivity. If you would like to use the shopping cart as a ‘wish list’, simply create an account, it takes just a minute. Then, log in each time and your cart contents will be saved!
